iCal feeds
In this article
iCal feeds allow you to synchronise your MyHallWizard bookings with other calendar applications such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook. This is a one-way sync — changes made in MyHallWizard are reflected in the external calendar, but not the other way around.
Note: iCal feeds are not available on the Free Tier. You need a paid subscription to use this feature.
Setting Up an iCal Feed
Step 1: Create a Feed in MyHallWizard
Click the Settings icon (gear/cog) in the navigation bar
Click Integrations
Click the iCal
Click New Feed and configure which rooms and booking information to include
Save the feed — MyHallWizard will generate a unique URL for it
Step 2: Subscribe in Your Calendar Application
Copy the feed URL from MyHallWizard and add it as a calendar subscription in your preferred application:
Google Calendar: Settings > Add other calendars > From URL
Apple Calendar: File > New Calendar Subscription
Microsoft Outlook: Add Calendar > Subscribe from web
The calendar application will periodically check the feed for updates and display your bookings automatically.
Using iCal Feeds with RemoteLock
iCal feeds are also used by the RemoteLock integration for keyless entry. See RemoteLock
