MyHallWizard may email you with notifications from time to time. For example, if you have forgotten your password, or for notifications regarding bookings.
We understand how important it is for you to receive these notifications from MyHallWizard, but occasionally, emails from our no-reply@hallwizard.com address may not arrive in your inbox. It’s always worthwhile contacting HallWizard Support to check if there were issues sending the email to you – see Why can’t I send my email? to learn about what can go wrong – but there are also some simple steps you can take to ensure you receive our emails.
1. Check Your Spam or Junk Folder #
Sometimes, legitimate emails can be mistakenly marked as spam by your email provider. Here’s how you can check:
- Gmail: Open your Gmail account, look at the left-hand menu, and click on “More” to find the “Spam” folder. If you see any emails from no-reply@hallwizard.com, right-click on them and select “Not Spam.”
- Outlook/Hotmail: Open your Outlook account, find the “Junk Email” folder on the left-hand side, and look for emails from no-reply@hallwizard.com. Right-click on any email and choose “Not Junk.”
- Yahoo: Open your Yahoo Mail, click on the “Spam” folder on the left, and if you find emails from no-reply@hallwizard.com, select them and click “Not Spam” at the top.
2. Add Our Email Address to Your Contacts #
Adding no-reply@hallwizard.com to your contacts or address book can help ensure our emails land in your inbox.
- Gmail: Open an email from no-reply@hallwizard.com. Hover over the sender’s name at the top of the email and click “Add to Contacts.”
- Outlook/Hotmail: Open an email from no-reply@hallwizard.com. Click on the sender’s name, then select “Add to contacts.”
- Yahoo: Open an email from no-reply@hallwizard.com. Hover over the sender’s name and click “Add to contacts.”
3. Check Your Email Filters #
Email filters may redirect our messages to other folders. Ensure no filters are moving emails from no-reply@hallwizard.com out of your inbox.
- Gmail: Click the gear icon and go to “See all settings.” Select the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab to see if any filters are affecting emails from us.
- Outlook/Hotmail: Click the gear icon, select “View all Outlook settings,” then go to “Mail” > “Rules” to check for any filters that might be moving our emails.
- Yahoo: Click the gear icon, select “More Settings,” then go to “Filters” to ensure no filters are affecting our emails.
4. Whitelist Our Email Address #
Whitelisting ensures our emails are always delivered to your inbox.
- Gmail: Open an email from no-reply@hallwizard.com. Click the three dots next to the reply button and select “Filter messages like this.” Click “Create filter” and then “Never send it to Spam.”
- Outlook/Hotmail: Go to “Settings” > “View all Outlook settings” > “Mail” > “Junk email,” and add no-reply@hallwizard.com to the “Safe senders and domains” list.
- Yahoo: Go to “Settings” > “More Settings” > “Filters,” click “Add new filters,” and create a filter that ensures emails from no-reply@hallwizard.com go to your inbox.
5. Check Your Email Quota #
If your inbox is full, you might not receive new emails. Clear out some old emails to make space for new ones.
- Gmail: Delete unnecessary emails or move them to another folder.
- Outlook/Hotmail: Empty your “Deleted Items” and “Junk Email” folders to free up space.
- Yahoo: Delete old emails or move them to another folder to ensure you have space for new messages.
6. Ensure Your Email Server is Functioning #
Sometimes, your email provider might be experiencing issues. Check with your email provider or IT support to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
